28 August 2025 – Presentation on MyGov web site and app.

The August General Meeting will be on MyGov. A system we all need to know how to use.

myGov is a secure Internet and mobile app that serves as a single point of access for various Australian government services, such as Medicare, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), and Centrelink.

It allows you to link and manage your government services, receive messages from them in a secure inbox, and store digital versions of important documents. You can also access information about government support and resources, all through a personalized account.

The presentation was at 2.00pm in the Turramurra Seniors Centre / Community Hall.

For example “Aging”, then go to “Accessing Aged Care Services” then “Applying for services through My Aged Care”. You will see the information on the variety of services available. Similarly you can drill down in “Health and Disability”.

Passkeys set up after signing in some other way. Then set up Passkey. It lets you use the security features on your phone or computer to sign in.
